The Oxford Sanskrit Text Society
The Oxford Sanskrit Text Society is a global initiative to facilitate diffusion, dissemination, and appreciation of the corpus of Sanskrit texts from Vedic/Hindu, Buddhist, and Jain intellectual traditions, and the belles lettres, canonical or non-canonical, in the Sanskrit original and their modern translations, mainly in English and Hindi. The STS fosters and facilitates diffusion, dissemination, and appreciation of a wide-ranging corpus of Sanskrit texts from Vedic/Hindu, Bauddha, and Jaina intellectual traditions, canonical or non-canonical, in the Sanskrit original and their modern translations, mainly in English and in special cases also in major Asian languages such as Hindi.
